The panel's schedules can run commands, power actions and backups, but they cannot delete files. That decides the approach:
Rust
Use a plugin: Wipe Scheduler or Auto Wipe (Oxide/Carbon) deletes the map on a schedule and restarts. See Rust wipes.
Minecraft world reset
Two ways:
- Plugin: Multiverse with a regenerating world, or a minigame plugin that resets its own arena.
- Kowalski on request: ask "reset the world" and it stops the server, backs up, deletes
world*, and starts; a fresh world generates. Ask it each time, or before an event.
A pure panel schedule that runs stop, then restart does not reset anything.
ARK / Valheim / 7 Days "fresh start"
Same as Minecraft: delete the save folder while the server is stopped (Kowalski can), keep a backup. For ARK, cheat destroywilddinos via a Send command task resets wild dinos without touching bases, and that one is schedulable.
Always back up first
Add a Create backup task at the top of any reset routine, or ask Kowalski to. A reset is the one action you cannot undo without it.
