serverconfig.xml uses <property name="..." value="..."/> lines. The ones you will touch:

Server

  • ServerName, ServerDescription, ServerWebsiteURL, ServerVisibility (2 = public list, 1 = friends, 0 = hidden)
  • ServerMaxPlayerCount: matches your plan's MAX_PLAYERS
  • ServerPassword: written from the Startup variable
  • ServerAdmin: use serveradmin.xml instead, see Admins

World

  • GameWorld: Navezgane (the hand-made map) or RWG (random gen)
  • WorldGenSeed and WorldGenSize (6144 default; 8192 costs a lot more RAM)
  • GameName: the save name; changing it starts a fresh save
