Kowalski is the penguin bubble in the bottom corner of your panel. It is an assistant that can actually do things on your server, not just talk: read the console and log files, list and edit files, install plugins from Modrinth or SpigotMC, change startup variables, restart the server, download a file from a link, unzip archives, and reset a server completely if you ask for it.
What it costs
Every account gets a free monthly allowance of credits. Each answer shows how many credits it used. When the free credits are gone you can buy more in the dashboard under AI credits; prices are shown there. Simple questions cost a few credits, a deep dive through a 2 MB log costs more.
Asking well
- Say what you see. "The server stops after 'Loading libraries'" beats "it doesn't work".
- Name the server if you have several.
- Ask for a diagnosis first if you are unsure: "Read the latest log and tell me why it crashed", and then decide what to change.
- Let it act when you are sure: "Install EssentialsX and LuckPerms, then restart."
What it will not do
Kowalski confirms destructive actions (delete files, reset the server) before doing them and refuses to install things from random links without a clear reason. It does not know your players' names or your billing; for money questions use the dashboard or a ticket.
Reinstall is not reset
"Reinstall" only re-runs the install script. Your worlds and plugins stay. If you want a truly empty server, ask Kowalski to reset it; it will tell you exactly what gets deleted and ask you to confirm.
