Cancelling, pausing and saving your data first

Nothing to cancel: just let the days run out. What happens then, how to keep your world, and how to delete a server for good.

There is no subscription to cancel

A server runs for the days you bought. Turn auto-renew off in the dashboard and it simply stops when the days are used up. No notice period, no cancellation form.

What happens when the days run out

The server is suspended: it is stopped and players cannot join, but every file stays. You get an e-mail. Add days from the dashboard (Reactivate) and it is back within a minute, with the same world and the same address.

We keep suspended servers for a while, but not forever. If you know you will not come back for months, download a backup.

Pausing on purpose

A "pause without using days" button is on our roadmap. Until then: let the days run out and reactivate later, or keep the server and turn auto-renew off.

Keep your data

Before you let a server go: Backups → Create backup → Download. The archive contains the whole server folder: world, plugins, configs. You can upload it to any host, including back to us.

Deleting for good

My Servers → Delete removes the server and its files immediately and irreversibly. Remaining days are not refunded, so do this at the end of the period.
