A support link is a page like penguhost.com/support/abc12345 for one of your servers. Players open it, pick an amount, pay by card, PayPal, Klarna, giropay or Revolut, and the money is credited to your hosting balance, where it renews and upgrades the server.

What you get

  • 100 % of the amount the player picks. 19 % VAT is added on top for the payer (like on every purchase of credit); PenguHost keeps nothing of the net amount and covers the card/PayPal fees.
  • A page with your headline, a message, an optional goal with progress bar, and (if you want) the list of supporters with their messages.
  • Optional Discord webhook: every payment is announced in a channel of your choice as an embed with name, amount and message.
  • An e-mail to you for every payment and the full list under Dashboard → Support links.

Set it up

  1. Dashboard → Support links → pick a server → Create link.
  2. Edit the headline and the message ("keeps the server online, pays for plugins and events").
  3. Optional: a goal in dollars, a Discord webhook (Server settings → Integrations → Webhooks → copy URL), and whether supporter names are shown.
  4. Copy the link into your Discord, the server MOTD, a sign at spawn.

Test the webhook with the Test webhook button; it posts a sample entry.

Limits and rules

  • Amounts between €1.73 and €431.35 per payment ($2 to $500); no recurring payments.
  • Payments are purchases of hosting credit for another account, not donations in the legal sense. There are no receipts for tax purposes and no refunds once credited.
  • You may thank supporters with cosmetics or a rank, but keep Mojang's rules in mind: nothing that gives a gameplay advantage.
  • Pause a link any time; the page then says the server is not accepting support right now.

What to write on the page

Say what the money pays for, in one or two sentences, and what the server costs per month. Players give more when they see a goal ("€10 keeps us online for another 30 days") than when they see a blank box.
